Florida’s Assisted Living Facility Administrators work across broad and varied domains of practice that require specialized operational, administrative, and executive knowledge. This training session moves quickly through several key areas, focusing on high-level regulatory expectations and timelines related to professional responsibilities, the survey process, adverse incident reporting, facility licensure, reporting abuse, neglect, and exploitation, criminal history screening, and quite a bit more.
This training session will help less experienced Administrators focus their attention on those aspects of resident care and services important to our external stakeholders while more experienced Administrators will revisit foundational, recurring responsibilities. Attendees will find content useful for refreshing policies, working with local authorities, scheduling a compliance calendar, and for training staff.
Objectives
Course completers are required to attend the session in its entirety to be eligible to receive their LSLE Certificate of Attendance. Students are free to pause, stop, and resume the presentation at any time over a period of 10 days.
